The complaints come in when BT send the bill! (Also when BT manage to mess things up and the connection vanishes
).
But I would hate to go back to dial-up and 56K.

Stop boasting! I'm still on 56k (and have a nagging suspicion that when my BT broadband pack arrives next week, it won't be compatible with Windows 98) and am fed up.
On the flipside, good to see you online - you don't seem to have been around for a while.

Don't panic - BT Broadband worked fine on 98 for me!
Although the broadband modem they gave me was ing impossible to use with linux
.
I have been here, just not for long at a time, the guy whose taxi I was driving decided to sell up and I haven't found another that suits me yet. The problem being that I live in the middle of town with no car due to the parking in Edinburgh and nearly all the drives available being based miles away!.
Anyway, to get back to the subject..... BT Broadband has been pretty reliable for me, just one cock-up in well over a year (see journal entry) and that was fixed pretty quick once I got to talk to someone who actually knew what they were talking about.
