But surely if there were more hours in the day, you wouldn't live for as many days or years for that matter. Also how many hours in a day would you like? AND once you add more hours the days will not align with the suns rotation any more and day and night, light and dark would be skewed. Imagine planning a big night out only to find out that it's a big morning out!! Besides, if there were more hours in the day, employers would sieze the opportunity to leach more leisure time from us! Anyway, enough of the silliness, cheers

Some very good points you have raised there, but if im asking for more hours in a day, then i am asking us to rotate around the sun slower, so day and night would still be day and night, and would request that you only have to work the standing working week, so that you dont have to work any extra hours!!! Think that covers a few of your points there

OK, but you still would live for less calender years on the ground of the finite nature on human existance. I suppose it would be OK if everyone got used to living to an average age of 55!

Being a pensioner doesnt appeal to me whatsoever, neither does a grandmother!

I actually have an ex-girl friend who's mother actually tells her daughters' boyfriends, upon meeting them, that if they make her daughter pregnant, she'll cut their....manhood off! Now I laughed when she did it to me and treated it as a joke, but I think she may well have had a go at completing her threat if I got her daughter pregnant! Bearing in mind that both of us were in our mid twenties.
