My Gunga Din article has proven to be offensive.
I think it must have been the George Orwell quote, when Orwell was discussing Kipling's racist attitudes. It's kind of ironic in some ways considering Orwell's 1984 and the task of doing away with words. Also the purpose of Orwell's criticism of Kipling was precisely to point out Kipling's racism.
I'm think I'm going to disassemble my site and stick to things I can do without being unwittingly offensive to others. Funny...it was in peer review for a period without any comment about offensiveness.

I know you've mentioned a few times that someone's taken offense at it, but after a couple of brief searches I can't find anywhere that anyone's complained . I don't think reporting on someone else's opinion should be construed as offensive, especially when that opinion is already a matter of record.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the entry that would make it offensive, and I appreciate the work you've put into it. Please don't give up on it - especially if it was just one person who's been offended in the face of so many others that liked it.
