How to rememeber words more effectively

My memory capacity is so bad.It is difficult for me to remenber words. That bad thing confused me a lot these days. I wanted to remember more words but my memory didn't allow me to do that,which made me so disappointed. Even bad is that now i feel no hope to learning English.
When i heard someone talking in English fluently, how i envy them! Sometimes i thought if i were a native English speaker,there won't be so many difficulties.But i also thought that our Chinese was a excellent language with a great culture.
When will i good at English?
