Goodness, well done you I'm so glad to hear you're happy and settled over there, but sorry that your relationship hasn't't lasted. Mind you we both know that being alone is usually better than a second-rate relationship.

I was completely stunned when my name was announced, apparently my face was a picture, as my jaw just hit the floor and then I squeaked funnily . I was so surprised as I had only been there 5 months. I was on a high for weeks after.
I did share the honor though, with a loverly young man, who had really shone, and did a really good job, when asked to step up to a leadership role.
Moving from a big store to this small store, is one of the best decisions, I have ever made. . The culture and feel of this store is just so different to Innaloo. And as an aside, Innaloo has gone down hill severely since I left
gearing up for stocktake right now, so everyday is a busy challenge, lots of
oh and hoping to make it to NZ later this year, with my Bigbig sis, will be a first time in 30 years the whole family has been in one country at the same time.
I hope to make a side trip to the South Island if possible (never been there)

I am currently watching season 5 of Masterchef NZ and every ep is making me giggle, the NZ accent can be very funny

Every time I walk passed Jake, a recent Kiwi import,(with a very broad Auckland accent) and saying, 'are you sure it is c*cked right through?' cracks us both up.
There are quite a lot of Kiwis working in this store!

I used to laugh at the Kiwi accent too when I lived in Aus, but now I don't notice it at all. And I find the Aussie accent quite harsh by comparison.
Mind you, I do still make jokes about hins' iggs ;-P
It's lovely to be formally recognised at work and makes all the difference when you need a wee bit of motivation to get up in the morning.
Masterchef? Pah... drives me nuts. I can't watch it. Cooking's for fun and sloooooow pleasure, not a rushed competition.
