The Reverend may have retired, but is never fully gone, dear.
How've you been, and what's with the name-tag change? Shift work a thing of the past or a change of employment?
Nick

The season ended for me at 4am on the 12th nov, with 7 12hr shifts in a row, crushing doesn't end till sometime today (sun) late eveningish, but as I was to go back monday midnight, I was put off early, along with most of my shift, I couldn't wait counted down every last hour, as the past few weeks have been really tough, so many things breaking down, an an operator that had at least 2 days a week off....
Had the shift party friday night, got very , so I had a terrible yesterday........ but now I am back.
Going to do very little for the next week, then I shall start to scrub the house, inside an out, our dustballs have bred voraciously in the past few weeks months

And just yesterday we chewed up the rest of the leaves before our winter. *sigh* I don't know if I should envy you or be grateful another season has passed.
I'll let you know after the first 2 feet of snow.
Meanwhile, I am glad to hear you survived another season of the processings and no injuries to yourself. Except perpetual exhaustion.

uummmmm I was injured twice at w**k this year, I strained/tore one of my chest/side muscles, had physio for over 8 weeks and was on resticted then light duties for a few weeks, and just recently I strained one of my lower arm muscles, from scraping the filter so much
I am looking at airconditioners for our lounge room today, as it is already very hot here, about 29 Deg C by 9 am goes down to about 22 at night , is going to be a long hot summer this year I think, I am so glad we are going to NZ over xmas.......

Hmmmm, I'm gonna have to guess that we really did lose track of each other this past number of months. I am sorry to hear so belatedly of the injuries. I know of torn side, chest and back muscles. As well as torn fore-arm to the point that over-compensating demolished a shoulder for months. Belated commiserations is all I can offer, ... and a few s.
We have central air conditioning for our house, and won't need it for another 6 to 8 months. If you care to pay shipping, you could borrow it? *grins*

thanks for the offer but I think we will obtain our own

My own work pretty much precluded the active times of the threads. And then after hours, a missus who felt neglected if I was more than minutes on-line ... Well the whole of hootoo, the friends, they all ran far past me. So I've only a few connections left. Ah well, I guess it comes of actually having a life away from the wires, eh?
Gotta go now, a few things left of the week-end, ... and then Monday morning returns. Please do take care, and don't be a stranger now that you know where I've ended up?
and a , good lady.

oh I knew when it came out, I have become a . which I find really rather odd, as when I first came here I posted alot I help start the wordgamers bar........... now look at me, I hardly post, and only subscribe to a few journals........... oh but I have become involved with an aussie website....... so tend to spend my time there, it is a young site, being in on the groung floor, so to speak, and involved with changes as a tiny site grows and changes is rather ..........nice

As you might recall, my first while I too was quite prolific and a gamer. But reality, work, and a frequently annoyed spouse really dampened that. Ah well, I still manage some friends and journals.
Cool with the new'ish site. I hope it develops well and remains enjoyable for ya.
