I would love to know how you get the site so that you can seem to be speaking directly to the person who is visiting it..makes the sight seem so much more friendly HOW DO YOU DO IT??..

This is only my third day as "researcher" on h2g2. *phew*

However I found the best way to assemble gadgets for your personal page is to visit a lot of other people´s personal pages. Whenever you see something that you find suitable for your own space, you just read the page´s GuideML and copy the relevant paragraph for your own.

To see the GuideML tags, exchange the "U" with "testuserpage", like this:

You can do this with any user page, and if it is an entry (with an A instead of U before the number) you just exchange "A" with "test".
