Hi, I hope you are well. Stumbled on your page while looking through the "who's online" section, just checking through who's new! I've been on H2g2 for a couple of months. I agree with your comments on anonymity on the internet (check out my space) so the name's Andy, nice to meet you Karin. Maybe you'll explain to me how you get a guests name to appear on your page when they visit, cos I think that's pretty clever. Andy

Hi Andy ,
This is only my third day as "researcher" on h2g2.
However I found the best way to assemble gadgets for your personal page is to visit a lot of other people´s personal pages. Whenever you see something that you find suitable for your own space, you just read the page´s GuideML and copy the relevant paragraph for your own.

Example taken from <./>Spicing Up Your User Page</.> :
This is Kristina's user page:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/U151707
To see the GuideML tags, exchange the "U" with "testuserpage", like this:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/testuserpage151707
You can do this with any user page, and if it is an entry (with an A instead of U before the number) you just exchange "A" with "test".

So this has been the way I found that the GuideML tag you asked for is ! ! !
I´ll have to go now - loads of postings to reply to . . .
Warm wishes,
- Karin.
