2 1/2 Gun Salute
Posted Feb 3, 2004
I hereby proclaim a day of mourning. The Psycho Twins...are no longer. We'll miss you, Nicole! We have the legacy--YOUR legacy--of Poke-Fu to remember you by. Farewell, and thanks for the memories *rolls eyes*. Good luck.
For a lesson in Poke-Fu, send me an email @ [email protected], and I'll think about it .

I'm, umm, back. I guess.

Big Brother loves you.
Yup, that's the kind of year I'VE been having. I love my GF dearly (and she puts up with me so well! ), my friends are fantastic (shouts to Grace, Ali, Cecilia, Nikki, David, Maddy, Christina, The Psycho Twins, umm, and whoever I'm forgetting...), but with Bush in the white house, Ashcroft anointing himself with Crisco in homage to biblical kings, Rove (before they even adapt 1984 to film, we get a real-life BB), Hussein challenging Bush to a live, televised debate and all of my core teachers assigning major, work-intensive homework at the last minute, homework that I cannot see any remote point in (as well as a drama project, but that's frankly and admittedly my fault), I just don't know if I can keep my sanity until high school next year. I'm going to talk to the school counselor tomorrow, but mostly as an experiment. (This is a counselor that completely forgot a scheduled conference with one of my friends and her parents. She also suggested that my GF should "sleep on it and perhaps write a letter" after our vice-principal had seen her arguing and marched her into the counselor's office during the winter dance. After taking a long time to explain the complex and delicate problems of isolation, alienation and loyalty involved, this person's best advice was to find a way to make the situation even more awkward and embarassing. Eventually, the problem was solved with a few casual comments and the occasional glare.)

Rules
Don't do this
Don't do that
Listen to them
Behave yourself
Follow the rules
(not my work, but I don't recall whose. Google it!)
Society is defined as the acknowledgement of certain systems designed to afford the populace with the necessary illusions of signifigant control to create a general happiness amongst as many as possible. This is all for the purposes of artificially satisfying any desire for knowledge or wisdom so as to foster a culture of ignorance where rhetoric is considered substitute for reason.
---
And I'm glad to be back on h2g2 after quite a long time. If there's anyone I'd alienated during or since that time, I am truly sorry.
And I've taken everything off because it was, frankly, stupid.
You can still see the journal entries though. And I'll give you the last source backup of the original page if you're curious.
As always, I love getting mail. (I think I kept my first piece of spam, actually. Hmmm.) My now-public primary e-mail address is:
[email protected]
Thanks.

A tangled web we weave....
Posted Aug 11, 2003
....Even if we _don't_ practice to deceive.
I'm leading a busy life right now.
1. I'm in the process of creating a website, semiquaverproductions.com (*whew!*), which will be designed in Frontpage and tested, demoed, and launched as a free Geocities page. The goal of the site is to create a rather nice little network of free I-scratch-your-back-you-scratch-mine graphic design, starting with me providing free (and very simple) art, all done on the computer. It's a nice idea, if I do say so myself, and I've got some samples finished already. Email me at [email protected] for samples. Please!?!?!?
2. My mom is trying to kill me. Self-explanatory.
3.I'm playing a lot of tennis right now. I just came home from a weekend tournament at our local tennis club with two trophies, I'm rather pleased to say. Singles consolation and doubles .
4. I've got a desktop theme for Furry Artist AcidExtasy that I haven't finished, and the artificial deadline of school is fast approaching.
5. I have no social life whatsoever, not for lack of trying.
Any suggestions? Send 'em, please, to [email protected], or via the normal route, if you want to be really boring .

We don't all lead interesting lives, after all.
Posted Jul 10, 2003
We all lead interesting lives, and your Journal is the place to tell everyone exactly what makes your days buzz by. Here you can talk about what you're thinking of doing, what you think about what you're thinking of doing, and when you're thinking of doing it, because, unlike Guide Entries, Journal Entries are associated with specific points in time.
Three problems:
-I don't lead an interesting life. Not really. I'm not bitter--I can make do, the Web is interesting enough (www.ubergeek.tv is good enough for at least a few hours). But it's still not true.
-Buzz by? Don't make me start on that one, please.
-Topical, current-events-type or historical entries are very intimately associated with a specific point in time.
Oh well, at least it's _definitively_ inaccurate .
