Buckling Swashes and vice versa

Thought I'd better not muck up the Pictures at an Exhibition conversation with this stuff...
well, I do Swash Buckles, but not often because it's more tricky. It's really for a more experienced Buckle meister than I.
Have you ever tried it?

No. I can't get decent buckles here, and I don't have the ambition to import anything. Or swashes, for that matter--my swash-buckling friends tell me they keep falling apart when you try to buckle them. So I haen't.

it does take a lot of practice, and I have to say that being a Brit I have had lots of practice. I don't know, it's a dying talent. Perhaps I should set up an h2g2 Buckling Swashes instructional manual?

Yes! By all means! I can see it now, your name in lights: The Official Unofficial h2g2 Buckling Swashes Society, Grand High Leader: Sho! The BBC runs three interviews of you in a single week! Your lost personal effects start showing up on e-bay! The FBI compiles a file on you! Oh, wait, you're in the UK, you have sensible people there.
Seriously(), I think that would be very helpful for beginning buckle swashers. Perhaps an idea to act upon?
