It’s compiled by researchers just like you and it's something YOU can take part in. You can write entries on all manner of subjects, and if it's something you think would look good in our Edited Guide (where all the best research goes), you can submit it to Peer Review Take a look at the <./>writing-guidelines</.> for more information on that.

You have made a great start by opening your space Just a couple of hints ...
You can edit your intro by hitting the "edit page" so you can always change it as you learn more about H2G2.

On h2g2 (and on the internet generally) typing in all caps is read as shouting and may be considered a little rude - you might like to use the edit feature to change it

The messages ERROR and Salaam have been posted to your own space - that's a little like writing a note to someone and posting it on the notice board in your room - no one will see it unless they visit.

I notice that you have already been out and about posting to conversations - that's great Keep up the good work!

We ACEs are volunteers here to assist new researchers so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Oh, and don’t forget to bookmark not only your space but the H2G2 <./>FrontPage</.> - it’s a great way to stay in touch with what’s happening and leads to all sorts of corners which you may otherwise miss.

I am sure that you will love this community as much as we do There's lots of things to see, clubs to join and people to meet - please don't be shy - just jump right in - this is a friendly place. But be careful - it can become quite addictive - believe me I know

Just one thing, how do you add pictures and make the personal space glamourised, also what sort of articles can we write about, I wish to write more on political issues and great personalities, does that sound cool.

also how do you delete the messages

If you look at the Welcome message I left there are some highlighted "links" - if you click on them they will take you to some places that will help you and will answer your questions.

What to write? Click on --> <./>writing-guidelines</.> for a really good guide on how to write for the Guide.

and Spicing Up Your User Page at ---> <./>A690518</.> will help you do what it says.

Now for the bad news - messages, once posted, cannot be deleted - they are there for everyone to see ... forever.
So it's always wise to think before you hit the "post" button - your mistakes can come back to haunt you
