Things are what they are and as ususal a mixed bag of the good bad and ugly (but ugly things like work that if they werent there you'd miss them after a bit).

As my friend keeps saying "even when your life is bad its still better than the alternative"

However its actually mostly OK so its easy to wake up with a smile at the moment.

Your abscence was noted, but givent the circumstances I didnt feel right pestering you with homilies at the time you went *missing*. Thought it was one of thse situations where people need to lick their wounds and get back to where they want to go in their own time.

Hope your little ones are well and that we see a bit more of you again.

They are very well.

I am gradually moving on in life and the general trend is upwards which is good.

I'll try and pop by now and then.

Hi again. Snooping around as I do from time to time I noticed you and the ex having a chat. Things are still very awkward and I can sort of understand it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F19585?thread=4012463#p47117178 I bumped into her again this weekend and though I enjoyed being in her company there were still a couple of things she said quite innocently and with no intent to upset that got to me. Not much but stirred feelings that I couldnt have handled a few years back. Now Ive come to deal with the good and the bad feelings ive got over her a lot better. Thing is it took years for me to get both sides into perspective. Im not him and he's not me this is not a guarantee. I hope he feels better he is obviously hurting a lot and you probably cant fix it for him. Tine is the great healer but as the lable on the tin suggests its no quick fix. I hope your not too hung up on what you did, you cant take it back and mistakes are what make us better in the long run. I was and anyone who expects perfection given what we know about the world is as guilty for their own hurt when they expect perfect honesty and fidelity from a lover. PS I will get round to that will Smith rant one day the new GF got it in person the other night when she suggested a cosy evening watcing Bad boys II the other day. Relationships sometimes I wonder if they are worth it, she probably did too.
