I read your entry regarding Tampere, Finland and I would be very grateful if you could assist me with a query concerning the IT job situation in Finland. I have worked in Helsinki on two previous occasions. I returned to the UK in October 2001 and thren went on to travel around australia - I have recently returned to the UK and I am interested to return to Finland to work. My main skills include VB 6.0, SQL Server, ActiveX component development and web development - ASP, HTML, JScript.
During my time there there were many positions available, but these days I dont believe the situation is very good.
I would be grateful if you could offer any information regarding the state of IT recruitment these days.
