YEh im not to bad 
My birthday was ok much like a normol day except for the gifts and cards. but i went out clubbing on the saturday seen a live band that was very very good and enjoyable

birthday cards,i arent bothered about presents,but i like to think that frieriends emember me on my birthday.thats what sets it apart from the rest of the days,is,isnt it???salx

Your right i would be more upset i didnt get a card than i would a gift. I think you can see with a card by just reading the verse how much effort as gone in to choosing that card.
