HI ANGEL
Lizzbett Posted Feb 18, 2004
I've seen the cleaned up parts of Birmingham City Centre and I think it's lovely. I haven't been to the new Bull Ring as yet but I have seen that shopping centre that is in the old post office/sorting office building.
I often think that I would quite like to live in the midlands. I like Suffolk but I have lived here for 15 years and I wouldn't mind moving on (the housing is not quite as pricey over your way as it is here, either). My boyfriend is Ipswich born and bred so I don't think I will be moving far as long as I am with him.
My youngest brother moved to Birmingham about five years ago (he followed a girl friend there and subsequently fell out with her) and not long afterwards, his best mate from Grammar school moved there too. Now the bloke who was his best mate at Primary school is also planning to move to the area - so it would seem that people from Lincolnshire like to move to Brum! My brother seems to have made LOADS of friends since he moved over there and most of them are incommers.
So, will you be pleased when half term is over and your boy goes back to school?

No, I've never had any children. There was one failed attempt about 13 years ago (when I was still married) but I've never felt settled enough to try again. I shall be 37 this year so it looks unlikely that I'll ever do the 'mother' thing. I love babies, but I'm not that keen on kids once they get to about four years old.
Your son is a rare child if he likes school. I HATED school! I did well in my CSE's but I still view 16 June 1983 (the day I left) as one of the happiest days of my life!
I've only got a two day week this week. I have booked annual leave for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and I shall be decorating my bathroom. I can't believe that I have lived in my house for nearly five years and I still haven't finished the decorating!
