I.m getting there. Can,t see me using the smileys though. But then you never know. It is a wind swept damp day in Ireland, which is quite normal here. So roll on Summer !!!

Oh Trust me you will use the <./>Smileys</.> once you get used of them.
The best way to remember is do a list of all your fav smileys you like then refere to them. your soon remember them.

We have the same weather here in the UK today not to warm at all.
It was realy nice yesterday like spring.

I used to live in the South in Portsmouth now I am in a very Rural setting totally the opposite of the city.

Yes I do... It is really hard to imagine going back to England. There is something here that I think has been lost in England, hard to define. The people are really friendly, laid back and have different priorities.

The only problem is contact with my daughter.... but there are cheap flights.

All in all I think I am in the right place.

How old is your daughter?
Do you manage to get chance to visit her often?

She is 8. She has been here a few times in the Holidays and I have managed to get back to see her as well. It's not so bad but at her age I think the contact is really important... what is it you do by the way...do you work??

I wworked as apre school teacher to a couple years back.
I gave it up to look after my termally ill father then i went in for nursing and got accepted as a volunteer for the termally ill but was in a rta 18 months ago so unable to work now.

Sorry to hear that.. must be a long process. Life is never easy I think.

Yes just one foot in front of the other. I have had my own traumas too but yes we have to carry on.

I have only ever driven through it / over it.

Ive lived here all my life.
was going to emegrate to Australia about 15 years back had all the papers done any ready to go but my mom was taken poorly and put it on hold then i had my son and never got round to going.
I think i will probally stay in birmingham for ever now
or at least in this contry.

as you said...as long as your happy. I am no spring chicken but I beleive that we can do anything if we want to and that it's never too late. (I have to beleive that otherwise there is no point) so I try to be optimistic..

Im no spring chicken either im 35 in 3 weeks time but i try to stay yound and as fit as i can be better when ive fully recovered i broke my collar bone and shoulder but have weekly physio so hopefully wont be to much longer now.
but no matter what goes on i always stay possative.
whats the point in feeling for your self it gets you no where.

I My work as a Ace(assistant community Editor) on here keeps me occupied, and i love to help people if i can

35 is VERY young I am 49 so take my word for it. I work part time for an organisation which develops projects for the local community. I am hoping to get involved in doing something in the drugs/alcohol field for young people .

I am leaving work now. so need to say cheerio for now.

your 49 thats also yound i know my mum was only 52 when we lost her and that is far to young.
