Not easy to know if 'your' name has already been taken - I used the <./>Search</.> function to make sure nobody was using the same user name as I do..

Well, I thought his approach was unnecessarily aggressive, that's for sure. A simple 'I see we have the same user name, would you mind changing yours please' would have been enough, in my opinion.
