Well I use that greeting a lot, but I guess it works better what with you actually living in Spain and all.
Anyway, on the threads that I seem to frequent, namely all the arguementative ones, you have come across as probably the most moderate person since a girl called Ben dissed astrology and got quoted in prime position on the birth sign poll. So I thought I'd come and say hello.

hi Bouncy,
Moderate? Me? Well, some people would disagree (for example Della thinks I'm a b*tch-on-wheels), but I do try not to get personal in discussions.
I was lurking on the BNP thread and watched you and Member having it out and I thought you were being quite level-headed. I'm just trying to keep Member from hijacking the atheism in schools thread (for the second time!).
Well, thanks for stopping by and drop in anytime.

hi again,
I just saw your thread with Justin, asking him if he had any other interests. Nice try.
btw, were you taking the piss when you said I was moderate?

No piss-taking. Why, do you know something I don't?

Do I know something you don't about why you might have been taking the piss?
Or do I know something you don't about Justin?

Nooo you're not allowed to be insecure, I'm the teenager here. You're supposed to be all wise and stuff...

You were talking about working on your Pratchett collection? Good choice. Anyway, I have the first 27 Discworld novels as ebooks of one sort or another if you want any. Most people don't like reading books on a computer screen, but thought I'd make the offer.

Oh, thanks sweetie, but I honestly *cannot* read long texts on screen. I don't know why but my eyes start to wander and I can't concentrate.
Meanwhile, read my first Pratchett book last Christmas and now have - I think - nine books. I also quit smoking after Christmas so the money I save by not smoking pays for approx. one book a week.
I'm also working on my Lindsey Davis 'Falco' series. Have you read any of those? They are wonderful.

Most people can't read long texts on screen I think. Its probably just because I do to much of it .
I've been on Mr. Pratchett, and indeed on occasion his daughter, since I was about 11 or 12. I think its kind of like the silly marmite advert.
That's the first I've heard of Lindsey Davis. Google says...set in Ancient Rome, looks a bit serious.

No, not serious - it's kind of like a 'detective' series except the main character, Falco, lives in Imperial Rome. Very funny and intelligent. At least, I think so.

Heh, does this mean we both dug this conversation up independently then?
What I tried to post about half an hour ago was:
--------------
Hey there again,
thought that last post of Rainbowmovement/Tony might upset you so I came here and by the time I'd found this post, hey presto you'd replied already.
Anyway I thought I ought to say something comforting/calming, but I'm not exactly sure what. I guess just that not only are you right to be angry, but in my opinion your view on the subject is probably pretty close to right too. Damnit I'm angry and I'm just an observer, maybe that's some of the old anti-Christianness coming through. May they burn in the hell of their own devising. And Tony strikes me as have a somewhat smug, enlightened-than-thou, doesn't know when to shut up type thing going on that's probably just a phase, maybe even fervour of the recently converted/recently discovered a new idea.
So, just, I'm on your side. And give one of your cats a
from me.
