Yes I hope to be back to stay ( I never managed to sort out voice software while I was having difficulties with reading and typing but things are much better now); hootoo's such a friendly place.

Oh thank you, kind az! I haven't heard Loreena but will listen out for her now you've mentioned her. I wrote 'Visitors' on the guitar and it sounds quite different with Rhodri's keyboard arrangement...
Do you like pzaaz as a site? It's still new and the people who run it are friendly and open to suggestions as to what form it might take in future...

Wow, you hadn't heard Loreena before? You must check out the album Mask and the Mirror, which I think is one of her best. Apparently influenced by Arabic music.

I think it was probably the keyboard arrangement that made me think of Loreena when I heard Visitors.

I also hope you are enjoying a lovely Easter weekend. We've pretty much had the whole week off (other than doing some biz stuff) so I feel quite ready to get back to my usual routine tomorrow.

Also tomorrow I will be seriously starting on anhaga's Amazing Weight Loss Programme F110768?thread=2486167 - quite revolutionary! It involves - are you ready? - doing more and eating less! Who'da thunk it?

Having enjoyed a lot of yesterday, I will be joining you on the eat-less-exercise-more program...my exercise of choice at the moment is mid-eastern dancing which I practise in the garden when it's fine (this year I will keep an eye open tho for telecoms men perched on the telegraph pole behind the garage - despite the fact that I was clad chastely from head to toe in leotard and sarong I don't think he was used to seeing such unusual undulations while undertaking early-morning repairs... and had to be given a cup of strong tea for his nerves)

Soggy? Don't tell me you were CAMPING up there???

It's actually very hot and sunny these days - last week it was even getting close to 40º, but things have cooled down now to about 32º.

And now I'm off to have a siesta, something I almost never do but I've been such an insomniac lately that I seriously need to get horizontal for awhile . . . hasta soon!

No..not camping..even I have more sense! Was meeting up with family in their (fortunately) very comfy and warm house. But I got caught in the rain on the journey back when we stopped in Herefordshire and I was lured into a sense of false security by no less that two rainbows and even a little watery sunshine and went for a walk...
I love rain pattering on the roof or lashing the windows (as long as I'm the right side of them) but not dripping down the back of me neck...
