I wont argue with that I'm the first one to say that faith is a little flaky as a concept but please help me understand how after an accident which left me in a coma with massive head injuries, a permanent vegetative state prognosis, total amnesia (I mean TOTAL like a baby)and paralysis in my left side I was able to recover to my current state with only Epilepsy, which I have largely overcome.
The human body has a tremendous power for regeneration and recovery, sometimes it needs somebody ordinary like me to help a person start the process.

"The human body has a tremendous power for regeneration and recovery"
See, you answered your own question!!
Inner strength comes from within, once the potential is realised, the realisation of it gives inner strength.
No faith required. It just is.

I'm glad you got my point so well and that I have never mentioned faith only healing.
However I suspect that when 'faith' healers do their thing a great deal of what they do is placebo (nothing to do with babies) effect caused by the patients (tempted to use victim) need to get better, desire to get better and their belief in the healer to make them better.
My point is that the deciding factor that prompts the healing is the belief rather than the 'healer'.
Am I a healer, Perhaps? I prefer to think of myself as a healing helper or even teacher, but I am not a faith healer.
I don't talk about it if I can avoid it, it seldom does anything but identify divided minds and leads to lengthy discussion.

Ah, and it is always better to avoid a lengthy discussion, whenever possible. Or is it?
Perhaps we should discuss this at length, just to be sure

I only ment that perhaps you are a little excentric,
I would prefer to stay on your friends list, but hey, It's your list
