Don't worry about that it's the thought that counts and right now Lady Linda, best friend Liz and her Knight need all the thoughts our h2g2 family can send.

She would have loved that quote, although we never physically met each other, it was one of many things to show our love we promised each other.

It was a very special choice of words.

It must Woman at Ears have been her guiding you in order to send me a message that brought my tears.

She is telling me she is not gone but in a nearby room, she is still with her Knight and her best friend Liz.

So for now until we rejoin she is My Lady Lynda in waiting.

Lady Lynda loved & but was generous and kind so for her family here at h2g2 your share of the goodies and we can hold up a glass to her and say thank you for the loving.

that new intro page does very bad things to my eyes

THe theme of the intro was the seeing double smiley and it seems to have worked and I'm thankful to you for your confirmation.

Maybe you guessed I'm experimenting with Guide ML and It is not a permanent intro.

It will be gone as soon as I work out exactly how the ML works and what I'm going to do with the introduction to make it worthwile and perhaps get me the odd visitor now and again so that I can catch up with Lady Lynda.

Trouble keeping up! Lynda must have confided with you and as for dominant have you all been getting coached by Mina.

I'll have to be wary of meetings and tread carefully or I'll be in the hand getting payback time.

No confiding going on here, but the ML is not so tough, have you tried code culling, find the article that contains the code you want, change the "A" in the address to "test" find the you want, then copy and paste, into your own article, customise, and "Hey Presto!" you look like a genius. (bet that's how Lynda does it )

Thanks for the advice Woman at ears but it is not so much the ML which is the problem as knowing what I am going to do with my page.

I sure wish you hadn't made the last comment about Lynda, when she gets angry I get my ears boxed.lol

I've been trying to tell her about copying ML it's efficient use of resources. But she has been studying and knows ML now.

What I tend to do though is make a copy of any useful code I write so that I can use it again many more times by cutting and pasting code that I have written myself.

I didn't mean anything by what I said except that it is a quick way to write up a page. But if she has a good knowledge then fair play to her

Good to hear from you again. Lynda doesn't really box my ears, we've never even met, but that all changes at 11.00am 04/04/03 when she drives from Lancs to Croydon.

You've got a problem if she has. You'll just have to hope she can get by without them, or that you can LOL.
