Q: What is the difference between the two terms "hypoxia" and "anoxia"?
A: According to my Dorland's Illustrated Medical Dictionary, hypoxia is "low oxygen content" and anoxia is "absence or lack of oxygen; reduction of oxygen in body tissues below physiologic levels."
