Barb here...just wanted to say hello... seems we have a few things in common....

I'm from New York, and an animal lover, my main passion being Birds...I have a few of my own....

Music, Photography and Art are some of my interests.

I feel strongly as I'm sure you too, about people having the right to their own opinions and be respected even if their views are different. I think that's a big problem in today's society...It seems like everyone's trying to change everyone else's mind...like they don't know how to have a debate or a conversation without a "Winner?" at the end...know what I mean?

I certainly do know what you mean about lack of respect for others opinions!!! the hootoo "God thread" is a prime example!!!

Well, just to tell you a little about me too, I live in Tenerife, here in the Canary Islands, I am English, as you may have noticed!! but after being here so long I have been adopted as a "canarian" by my friends here!! however I do have a weakness for Mr Bean and marmite on toast, ohhh and vinegar on chips!! these little english traits do remain!!

I am married, with two children, Lydia who is 8 and Hugo who is 6, they are my pride and joy!!! we also have Dolly who is approaching 19 and is a dog, and Fifi, 9, a cat who thinks she is a dog!!

Tomorrow I will have a look on your space and leave you a message, it,s just too late now, I am going to bed, finally!!! I end up going to bed far too late these days since I have discovered Hootoo!!!
