Why?
My mum has been in the hospital all day, but not working. Shes sliced her finger in the mincing machine. 
Lucky she works in a hospital!

She's Ok at the moment. She said she just felt a tingling in her finger and the realised what had happened when she she her finger pouring with blood and hanging half way off. She aint the squemish type so she wrapped it up and her co worker told her to go to the office and she'd bandage it for her but when she saw my mums finger she told her to go straight to A&E. She had it stitched and properly bandaged. That happened around 7am and yet she still managed to work right till 6 this evening. Pretty brave me thinks, some other person would have just gone home. She didnt call to tell me cause she didnt want me to worry
