i've had the link to go into LD for months now.

maybe LD will come back but til i actually see the evidence i cant believe it. no i'm not knocking your source for info but we've been told so many different things that it all gets jumbled up.

i dont think the firewall coming down is anything to do with the fact that people can now access LD.

with the link at the start of this thread you cannot get inot messaging n chat etc. so its not official YET.

i wont hold my breath but you'll be the first person i'll congratulate if it turns out to be correct

I can actually get into messaging and the library...


Kow sent me a link via e-mail...


If you e-mail [email protected] and give him your LD name and password and ask for your messages you can read, send and recieve messages and check your pal pilot...

Your pal pilot will more than likely say everyone's offline... so don't hold your breath for that...




The fact that the firewall is down indicates that Telewest is upto something with their software... so it may indicate that it could be coming back soon...


But there is no doubt that it is definitely being reactivated this year... the source I have is 100% solid...

iv got the link thanks its in my hotmail acount but you cant get into hotmail through digibox as its in java script. yeah i know what you have to do. you go into the site n change the URL once you're in there. yes the pal pilot wont work but all the messages are there!

ive been in the digital spy site which watches what happens with digital tv n theres nothing on there to indicate anything is happening on telewest but i expect something is

I too have had the link for months(practically since it was closed down). And it has nothing to do with any rumours Serj or anyone else may have heard. These rumours have been about since it closed, so its not the first time I've heard it. Why would they close something down that cost so much to implement in the first place. It just doesn't make good business sense.

Diddy: Well I don't know when the last time it was you looked into DigitalSpy but they've done nothing but talk about the new software for months. It starts rollout soon and there's eve screenshots of what it looks like at: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk

HTML: Log into LD and click on more. Then change the address in your address bar from:
/CWCFront_more....
to
/TWFront_more
That will give you messaging and Pal Pilot(which does work) and other things too. But you can't post in the Library or Email the Gov because it's unmanned.

I've been in digital spy recently but obviously I haven't been looking in the right places!

Just in case I can't find the info about new software what exactly does it entail?

The thing is with these rumours is its been spread about by the same people who want it back. People have to realise it probably won't be cmoming back. People ned to move on n accept this.

My girlfriend goes on, on a virtual daily basis about how great the family room was n how great the people are n how her nights are not the same blah blah! It was good fun at the time but there are other ways of talking to your friends n having views like the library. Such as here for example. To be honest i prefer it in here. Just wish there was such a thing as private messaging facilities. But I'm greedy anyway!
