I know how to put the writing at the left, right, or center of the page,
but I was wondering if there is a way I can put it,say 3cm, or 5cm, from the side,
I mean put it ware I want instead of just the the three places,

I only started it the othere day and I am enjoying playing with it

have to go to work now smiley - sadface

will speak later smiley - ok

Yup smiley - smiley. Wrap the text you want to indent with this:

...text...

Strange that the self-professed HTML expert "HTML Works" couldn't come up with an answer for you. Hmmm...guess his name is as fake as he is. Did you know he likes to plagiarise other people's Official Guide entries? I'd keep an eye on yours if I were you.

If you need help with HTML in the future, I'd suggest checking out these places.

Nice post. One niggling annoyance of mine, though: you don't need to include the bbc.co.uk etc. stuff in links. It looks a lot nicer if you just type A908903, or whatever the number is. It'll automagically make it into a link smiley - smiley.

Yes, but if you're going to save it as a link in an email, one of the ways I remind myself to peruse it later so I don't forget, then you need the entire thing. Hence, my habit of putting the entire link up there. However, when it comes to edited entries and not just conversation forums, I completely agree and do indeed use the truncated method, you so aptly describe.
