I figured it out! 
Your dropdown lists need different names - you have both called "dropdown1". All I did was make the second one called dropdown2 and it works fine for me. 
Like so:
please choose a group
Vogons
Spokites
Thingites
Black Sheep Worshipers
Pirates!
Nethack
H2G2 spy sociaty
The Terranic Army
nice people ive met
My Ace
Another helpful Ace
Anthea
a relative
a friend
another friend
