Just came over to say Hi ..and welcome to H2G2 Im one of the A.C.E's
(Assistant Community Editor),and among other things im here to greet new researchers like yourself and help them to settle in a little,as well as
help with any problems you may have,so if you need anything at all please feel free to shout .

This is a big place,so its easy to feel a little lost at first!,but you can return home at anytime with the my space button,or visit the dont panic help centre where there is always someone more experienced around to help.

A good place to start exploring is Hints and Links for new researchers at A719840.If you are a digi box user, the info on the friendlier plain skin
at A948602 will make things a lot easier for you.I would also recommend changing your researcher number to a name so that its easier for people to remember who you are!..you can do this with the preferences button.

The most important thing of course is to have fun!Bye for now..

Yes unfortunately! (went on Ld).. ..the online gadget in the toolbar doesnt work for us digi box users at present im afraid..I can get you one that does though.

but that dont tell you if they are online

to do that click HERE >> <./>online</.> and that should work

to put that on your page or in a posting you write < ./>online</.> ( with no spaces )

and you can change it to < ./>search</.> ( with no spaces ) and that will change to <./>search</.>
