Actually, after my mom passed away last October, I took a leave of absence (about 3 months) from work.

Did some remodeling of the house, which took forever ...

Have my own computer now, & after I got myself & this place all organized, I can finally touch base with some of my dear friends here....
there now, doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy?

I have become a "gramma", and loving every minute of it. Little Sierra Moon is almost 3 months now, and between work, Sierra, all my birdies, and trying to get things organized around here, I haven't had much time to sit down.... ...I've been working part time for a few months, but now I want to put in some more hours to get some more $$$...

So, how are your studies going? and how are things in general?.....
I touched base with az and was sorry to hear about Lua, her cat. I know that feeling, I lost my parakeet a few years back and my beloved parrot Rocky only last year.
