Hi Fnord!

I've been out of touch for a bit. My mom's in the hospital. She's stable but not doing too well. Her emphesyma is getting the better of her...she had a slight heart attack....there's not much they can do for her except give her meds...so we wait & see.

I will be giving up full time work to work part time here b/c of Mom and just the fact that I NEED A REST!

It's a somber day here. September 11th, ya know. What else can I say.....

Geez, I need some GOOD NEWS! Got any?

Um, good news, good news... girlfriend's been having arguments with me... best friend said I was "often annoying"... parents arguing... new cat scared of me... nope, they're all bad.
Oh, wait, new term at new college is going good. Good teachers, easy lessons, good facilities, five minutes walk from my house, full of new friends... that's all good!

The good stuff sounds really good.....the rest...well you know...."THAT's the Meaning of Life.....

As is the good stuff, thank Gawd. Hope your mum is okay.

The nurses say Moms doing a little better, although you wouldn't know it by talking to her. My Mom tends to be VERY dramatic, so it is hard to determine just how she is REALLY feeling...time will tell.

Anyhow...my Birdies are fine! (you DO care, don't you?)

I'm working part-time now....I think I like it...yes...yes....it does give me more time to "clean bird cages" and visit MOM (Godloveher) in the hospital. ah....now if I can only have some FREE time for ME!!
Any day now...any day now....I shall be released....yeah right...

They bloom... full beauty... they wilt...tired....they dry and show their age....they flyaway flyaway to be reborn again another day.

I do care, of course...
I do actually care about your mother, tho. Hope she recovers better soon, I know the dramatic kind of person all too well.
Did she actually say "Any day now...any day now....I shall be released"

No....I did! ..........

she says "I wanna die!!! Let me Die!!!!......tell the doctor to put me to sleep!!" (like a dog) oh please "DRAMATIC" is putting it mildly.
the woman makes me crazy...she says "i don't care, it doesn't matter.....then she complains about some trivial thing.....I hope it doesn't sound cruel....but really....she's wearing me out!

anyway Fnord....I will be looking forward to reading your stuff...you have a great weekend and I will check in on Monday
