TRiG!
Hi yourself!! The answer to the question is no, I'm not I just felt very hootoo deprived this evening and have dipped in a couple of times just to be sure everyone's ok and thriving.
Casa Neanderthal is stark raving mad. I still have not got a complete kitchen and the mad glint in the eye is turning into a permanent fixture Mind you, the house is looking gorgeous already and I really have no cause to complain, the work has actually gone on quite fast considering what we've done. A 2up 2down is now a proper big house. We've more than doubled the square footage.
Be nice to have a proper kitchen bfore Christmas though.
You well?

Grand.
I moved out of home, went on holiday, moved back home, and got a job.
I've not been writing my journal recently. In fact, I haven't been writing anything recently. I meant to do a long writeup of my InterRail trip, but never did.
Oh, and I've stopped being one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
That's my news.
Spend more time here. It keeps me sane. This place and Charleville woods (but not that patch of the woods where I nearly came to a watery end: I've not been back there since).

Blimey, you've been busy! What made you give up the JW?.. and what's the job?
D'you know, I actually can't spend that kind of time on the 'net anymore. There is too much else that needs to happen and it just got too frustrating trying to keep up with conversations and what was happening where. I figured I'd take a short break. I guess short won't be covering it, somehow!
What really made it easy to put hootoo on hiatus was the fact that I had no time to write anymore. That's kind of what this place is about for me. I still love reading entries and come in sometimes only to do that.
You be well, hon Onward and upward. I'll come check on this thread when I next pop in but for now, I'll wish you a great weekend.

I'm doing web design. I started learning it, and my first output was the Aviators site, of which you may perhaps have heard. It's not the best code, but it works, and looks fine. I plan to redo it one of these days.
PHP makes a change from cleaning windows, anyway, and, this time of year, is definitely preferable.
I stopped believing what I'd been taught. A gradual process. Some of the conversations here, with SoRB and Edward the Bonobo, among others, had something to do with it, but it would almost certainly have happened anyway.
SoRB's been banned, since. I miss him, actually. Annoying as he often was, he was never boring!

Funny thing, faith. I had it rammed down my throat from a very early age to be a good cafflick. I walked away from it without a single backward glance for over a decade but gradually I am finding my way to a place of faith. It would not stand scrutiny by a Catholic Inquisition, I am sure and is much more spiritual than religious per se but it is growing and is definitely there, in the backbone holding me up. This is such a private matter that I truly believe there is no wrong way. Faith, I mean. Organised religion is a whole nother set of palavers... Where I come from there is at least no pretense that religion is anyhting other than a socio-political mechanism You stay right where it is comfortable to be, TRiG, and be sure that it is YOUR opinion, not one borrowed from others no matter how eloquent and intelligent they are.
Be well, hon. Good to hear all is well in TRiG land.
