Just popped in before I collapse into .
Was still around at gone 4 am last night and then up this morning early (well, for a Saturday).

I don’t know what you mean with the ‘box’ but whatever it is, it’s unfair to blame it switching off on Scousers – I bet it’s clogged with at the back where the cable joins.

I’ve had a look at your new entry page. I see it now better reflects your real self – dynamic, adventurous, exciting. Honest!
Feel a bit jealous of the guy eating the Caesar though.
Are the Karate people girls with pigtails, or do you really get to wear such hats as they appear to have on?

Your revamped page is pretty stunning, but on my screen it unfortunately looks like it needs the spacing altering a bit. I have a 17” monitor at home and the alignment isn’t right even with full screen. At work I have a 21", maybe it looks okay there. But I imagine anyone with an old 14” screen will think they’re been eating adults’ biscuits!

Maybe more line breaks or more paragraphing would help. I can help if you like.

Altering the picture sizes would help too, if it’s possible. I’ve done that in webpages I’ve prepared in HTML, but the image import is different there, so not sure if you can do it in GuideML. Coincidentally, I asked an ACE last week if it’s possible and if so how, but haven’t received an answer yet. When I do, I’ll let you know.

If you’d like to alter the font sizes or colours and are unsure how, I know how to do that too if you need, because it’s sorta the same as in HTML - though it seems to me that there are less possibilities in GuideML.

I hope my pressy doesn’t melt before you get it; I’ll swing a for you that it arrives one day. Whoops, just tails are lucky too, aren’t they?

well 'the box' i was referring to is the t/w digibox n it can only read certain characters,if they r too big(eg the heart) it just resets itself....n there's nothing u can do except w8!!

(course being clogged with at the back doesn't help an awful lot either!!)

Just had another look at your page, think you've changed something, but can't quite tell what. You've also put the colour command in the title, but I don't think it works there, only in your actual text.
If you shrink your window to 14", you might see what I mean about your page layout on a smaller screen.

I can see when somebody was last online (or at least online messaging) cos, when I log on, in order to carry on a convie, I sometimes go to their personal space to find the convie.
In this way I can check if they’ve changed their page (which as we now know, some do, don’t they!).

I saw from your other conversations that you’d been messaging for a couple of hours beforehand, including to some quiz, which surprised me since you’d told me you didn’t think you’d be at the compu over the weekend.
In fact I had a quick skim of the quiz, to see if it looked interesting or any bonny to be won, but I couldn’t quickly make out what it was all about - there didn’t appear to be hardly any ??? (think I saw one). Though I suppose that's the best sort of quiz!

You don’t drink or ! My god, how can anybody admit to such a thing! Or have you got a reason why not?

All I pratically drink is and - if you don’t count the odd glass of , grapefruit juice or bubbly water. I might have a couple of one day, but then none at all for 6 months. And I only drink if I can have it like real french cafe au lait, and then 1-2 cups will do for a month.

My job is what is called landscape engineer, doing drawings and specifications on the compu. I don’t think they have the term in the UK, but it’s sort of a X between civil engineer (which is what I did at S’land) and landscape architect (which is the side of the job I prefer).
At the moment I’m involved in building renovations, of blocks with 12 large flats in each. The structure gets done up, maybe re-arranged inside by demolishing non-load-bearing walls in some places and putting new ones up somewhere else, rewired and newly plumbed, maybe new plaster on facade and new roof.

I do the design for the outside. They have parking lots and pavements, which get resurfaced, maybe realigned, and get trees and bushes alongside. Also waterlines and sewers are renewed. The buildings have grass areas around them, which have playgrounds for the building residents, and these might get renewed too, new equipment, resurfaced, configured differently (lots of fun choosing/testing the play equipment!). Sometimes the grass area is given a parkland look, with trees and bushes, and a paved, outdoor, common area for residents is often designed too, with benches and maybe a pavilion.

I’ve always loved natural auburn hair, because of the slight red tint in it, and cos if it’s dark it looks like its got a pincha purple too (=fav colour). Probably a remnant of my youth - when I was a awkward, horrible, just-turned teenager I fell in with a girl on the home from another school. She had hair that colour. I was so awkward I never spoke to her. In fact, I was probably so horrible, it was just as well too!

I would hope I know how to respond to any photo - once upon a time a girlfriend sent me one with a note saying something like -
When I went to pick this up, the guy behind the counter dropped the envelope and it fell out. As he picked it up and put it back, he said ‚Wouldn’t like to meet that on a dark night’. You can imagine what response I had to make, irrespective of what the photo was like, or whether the story was even true. Aren’t girls canny!

Don't think there's a decent photo me been taken recently. Oops, think I've let myself in for something there!. Since you gave hair and eye colours and height, mine's -brown (very short at the moment - less than 1" all over, what a contrast to yours!), grey-blue eyes, just over 5'6".

The film was okay, in a sorta saturday-night-way, if you know what I mean, mildly entertaining, not complicated - I could have munched or and still followed the plot.
Going to pics tonight to see a foriegn film 'Man Without A Past' - it got prizes at one of those film festivals (Cannes?) and I think was nominated for an Oscar in the foriegn-film category.

a digibox is the interective box that telewest gives u wen u become a cable customer,n therefore enables u to partake in the interactive side of things!! (like that wasn't self explanitory!!)
trouble is it only has so much memory n sometimes cut out n switches itself off wen overloaded(as in the case of a big !!

(of course it's also where i keep me digies, but that's a secret!! ssssshhh!)

n yep! move the lips away from the text, n u can change the colour of the title(look in other spaces) but i just ain't got the hang of it yet!
can't change the size of the window tho, guess i'm stick with that the way t is!....but like i sed, i like bigguns so i don't mind!!

Katie Boyle! You remember her! I think I probably had wet dreams about her when I was at that age. Oops, am I allowed to say such things! Don’t know when she ever said “that's y i got nil points” though.

Up till 4 am? Of course I wasn’t on the compu all that time - you can still go out to some bars here at midnight. Like in films of life on the Continent, a few only close when the last customer leaves, not at set hours.

‘Fights as to who tries out the playground equipment?’ No, not any more – they reduced the staff and the other remaining LE is not so interested, or too timid, to try out the equipment. My main problem is with a woman from the client side who doesn’t want any risks, so wants no slides higher than 4 inches or so, when I propose ones 15 ft high, etc, etc.

I went to the film on Monday, daftly arrived an hour too early, then found out I’d read the programme wrong – what I’d wanted to see is on the 24th not the 17th. Just as well I arrived so early, otherwise I might have hurriedly paid and gone in, cos what they showed, I’d already seen! And done that before!!

It varies whom I go to the pictures with. A couple of weeks ago I went to see a film, and after the adverts and the short film, the went on and the projectionist came and said ‘Was I sure I wanted to see the film tonight’, this ‘cos I was the only one there! (The place holds about 80). He asked ‘Wouldn’t I rather watch it with people too, otherwise it will be like sitting at home’. It was all very pleasant, friendly and ; there was no problem. Maybe he just felt sorry for me!

So eventually the whole film was shown just for me, which was great – nobody talking, rustling, eating (perhaps I shouldn’t say that), knocking the back of my seat, no heads in front blocking my view or bobbing back and forth. And nobody doing karate in the back row; not sure I would have totally objected to that.

Forget to mention last time msg = monosodium glutamate. If you enter in a search engine Chinese Restaurant Syndrome you get some websites dealing with it.
