Hi Jen,
I'm very new, infact your my first attempt at conversation. just joined. i am in Ireland very rural Ireland and my garden is in dear need of attention too. I've read the books and bought the cards (tarot) and i'm afraid i need guidence in how to use them effectively. Something else I love Poetry and have written two volumns over this lifetime am still trying to illustrate my written words. been trying for last what seems like millenia

Welcome to h2g2. I hope you enjoy your time here. Its takes a while to get used to the place and how it works, but i bet you'll be an addict in no time! 
My garden is coming along nicely, plenty of plants starting to shoot and the bulbs are now growing quite fast.
So how long have you had you tarot cards? Have you tried doing any readings for friends? One thing i can tell you is, you can never do a reading for yourself, it just does'nt work 
Have you had any of your poetry published? Its been quite a while since i have written any. 
Been too busy gardening!
