Um.
You know, I can't actually remember 
Oh yes! 
A little while back, h2g2 had a staff of about six or seven (can't remember exactly). Then there was a big BBCi reshuffle and most of them got moved on. There was a short downtime when pretty much all editorial stuff stopped happening - and the Italics were offsite 
So now we have an in-house team of about three (again, can't remember exactly how many), doing the old jobs of about six or seven...
