Mummy, I'm bored!

*sighs, pulls out the good old Super Nintendo, blows the dust off it, plugs it in, puts in Mario Paint, turns it on and hands the mouse to Cat*

*sits down at Nintendo*

< No, this game is well suited for little kids. There are different things you can do. There's the bit where you make a background, so pretty much you draw a picture using all the drawing tools, though if you don't wannt draw, there are three things you can colour in with the paint thing and just choosing the colours for each part. And then there's the music making area, there are 3 songs that have already been made, but you can make one of your own. Then there's the bit where you can make these little pictures. You can make 4, 6 or 9 of these. Then you choose a path on your background for your pictures to move, then you can watch the pictures moving at a speed that you chose around on the background with the music you chose/made playing. There's also a fly swatting game and some other features... but that's pretty much it. It's fairly simple and my niece seems to like it. >

*hits Mario on the head with the letter R and laughs at him*

This game, unlike most other Super Nintendo games uses a mouse instead of a regular controller... if there are other games that use the mouse, I don't know what they are.

Why did you hit Mario?



*starts making music* *makes a really annoying song*

< In the title screen for the game it says "MARIO PAINT" and Mario's running around under the letter, and when you click on the letters they each do different things, I can remember what a few of the different things are, but I can't remember which letters make them happen. But I remember that the letter R dropped and you tried to make it drop so it hit Mario. And then to get into the game you had to click on Mario, and he'd run away from the cursor. >

Seemed like a thing to do...

Ummm... dear... how about making a nice song? Not that your song isn't nice!! It's just... *puts ear plugs in* It's lovely.

*goes into the other thing and starts colouring*

< Oh... are you colouring Mario on Yoshi, the one with the birthday cake, the under the sea one.. oh, there's 4! Or the one with lots of random animals? >
