Can you think of a situation when you'd experience two strong emotions at once?
Example:
England are playing in the World Cup final. You cannot see the game live so you avoid the result with a view to watching the highlights shown at 10pm. At 9.59pm your pal rings you and says "We won!" You are extremely angry and extremely happy at the same time.

Someone you really like surprises you with a box of chocs when you're on a diet.
You're dizzy with happiness because you didn't know they cared, and at the same time very cross because now the diet's been ruined.

I don't have any guilt when someone buys me food if it's as a present. That's why I get my MIL to buy curries for me.
