You should also be kind to the animals that taste nice. It makes them taste better. Think kobe beef, free-range chicken.

That's someone else's problem. If I had to kill all the food I eat then I think I'd turn veggie.

Definitely.
But, I think, seeing as I don't eat loads of meat, I'd have to treat animals right anyway- otherwise it's just plain cruel! Like Free Range and all that!
My family buy free range eggs, etc, organic meat/ free range- we went to france ages back and saw geese and chickens being force fed by a funnel- urgh!!!!!
Put me right off frois grois (or however you spell it- it could be 'fwoir groure' for all I care!!!!!)

It all started a while back when I was on a bit of a downer. I thought "Aha! I'll list 100 good things about myself". I got to "Kind to animals and caring" when a voice said "WTF?! You eat them!"

Foie gras.
I know it not because I'm really clever with food, I just do the usual thing of typing something badly into Google and usually the "did you mean blah" tells me the correct spelling (though it's not always correct) and that usually leads onto a Wikipedia entry.
