h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi there, just thought I'd pop a note here saying hi. I'm not a Stokey, but a Staffordian! Moved there for uni, although I have been to Keele Uni a few times as i had a couple of friends there from my 1st year in Staffs.

I'm also aged Twenty ten and feel about 25/6. In fact i have a very hard time trying to work out exactly how I stopped being 25 and started being 30, I'm sure I'm owed a few extra years somewhere along the line!

Anyway, hope you are enjoying H2G2.

What a surprise to find someone here who's been to Keele (even though not studying).

As for my actual/felt age when I was 25 I felt like 30, because all my friends at uni were under 20 and I sort of felt like their mother. It all stopped when I finished uni, maybe because I could arse around more without the learning in between. Since then its all going backwards and I think by the time I reach the forties I'll behave like a ten year old.

H2G2 is brilliant, though sometimes confusing. But I'm confident I'll master that, too

By the way, when and where did you think you annoyed me???? I can't think of anyone who actually managed to annoy me around here..... If I said something harsh then forgive me as I sometimes doesn't know how to express myself properly (must be my German blood: Germans are known to being arrogant )

You've been got by the <\viewer> tag, you heard about that? It's the one that allows you to put the name of the person who is viewing your page into the page contents themselves.

Most people are suitably mature about this and use it for things like 'Hello dark_queen, welcome to my page'

However, there are those of us who have a childish, not to say somewhat stunted sense of humour and hence use it in the manner I did. Mina or Abi or one of the itlaics had one on her page saying something like 'Currrently on my list: dark_queen' or whoever was viewing which was really nasty

So be of good cheer, or just whack me one for playing a nasty trick

If you find anything here confusing, just ask, I've been on here for a couple of years now and am still discovering bits, but if I can help I will !

Well, another confusing thing about h2g2 that I have to learn. If I come across any more confusing stuff around here I will take up your offer and ask .
