h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hello! Long time, no h2g2! I only drop by here once in a blue moon now; usually because I have run out of things to do at work and this is one of the few websites that are not blocked by the college's security software. I noticed that you had commented on one of your threads quite recently, so I thought I would leave you a message.

It must be difficult to find time for t'internet when you have two young children even when you do have internet access. I am planning to move house at some point this year and I know this will entail a period of no internet access, which I do not look forward to. I don't know how I will cope without Facebook for more than a week!

I see you are now calling yourself by your real name on H2G2. Your life has changed so much in the past few years, I guess Unc is probably someone you used to be. One the subject of names, I have recently remarried and am finding it difficult to adjust to a new surname. Yesterday I signed some documents for the estate agent who is hopefully going to sell my house and did it in the wrong name.

Anyway, it's good to know you are still out there and being kept busy by your two little girls.

Liz! Lovely to get a message from you, it's been ages. Some overdue on getting married! Congratulations! I'm used to my newish surname but the old one doesn't seem 'wrong', it's more like having two surnames and if someone addresses a letter or whatever using the old one I don't tend to notice .

Using my name instead of Unc was mainly due to the new sign-in system. As I had to re-write my name anyway it seemed weird to use Unc as I didn't even know if there would be people on here who would remember it. But yes, I'm not a first year university student anymore, I certainly didn't think back then that in 7 years time I'd be married with two children

Yes the girls keep me busy. Milly's got a very vivid imagination and is full of stories and Sophie is pure mischief and very cute with it

I hope moving goes well, it's certainly a busy time,
