Strictly speaking, I'm quite shy, but in general I can get by by smiling broadly and engaging people . . in a sort of directed rambling. The joy of h2g2 is not meeting fellow shysters (that can't be the right word), but in the quality of the directed rambling.
I am pleased to make your aquaintance, in spite of my telephone bill.
I smile now.

I was shy, but have been increasingly less so, university and this place were useful there. Now rambling and broad smiling are two things I'm very good at
. Well, my rambling is directional I'm just not always entirely sure what that direction is
Pleased to meet you, how are you finding the site?

Well. It would be judged, I suspect, that the site is less like my brain than even I thought it would be. There is a need to see millions of threads which appear random, and yet all interconnect. I am good at seeing direction, but one at a time, not an entire picture of three dimensionsal hyper (or cyber) space.

Oh, h2g2 may be huge but it's not all that hard to follow . I guess I'm good at seeing several directions at once, qhich is probably why I'm no good at any logical sense of direction
