The first thing I noticed about your user page (after checking it out because of curiousity) is you mentioning GuideML...

Me and my other self (Kristina U151707) - hey, that reminds me of that song with the refrain 'Just me, myself and I' - oops, got a bit side-tracked there, sorry!

Well, anyway, remembering what a hard time we had with learning GuideML as newcomers (not even familiar with HTML at the time) we decided to write a newbie manual of sorts: A690518

Any feedback or suggestions for improvement would be appreciated!

Hello there

Takes me back a bit, I used your page when I first joined . I hadn't used any HTML before either, but that page gave me the basics I needed to used the GuideML Clinic. Consequently I can't really think of anything to add or change, otherwise it looks too complicated and confusing.

I did write a Guide ML page myself a year back (A1123354), aimed at people who found the Guide ML clinic too confusing, but it's a bit too in depth.

You used it?

I've been asked to write a separate entry on tables, but I've been hoping that someone else might feel inspired to do it... maybe you'd be interested?

This reminds me of something that I've been wishing for - and even asked the Italics about (in vain) - a hit counter!

It seems there are statistics available, but not on researcher level... *sighs*

I'll never know exactly how useful that entry actually turned out to be because I have no idea about how many researchers that have read it - I guess most who visited the page just read it but never bothered to post any comments...

Oh well, I guess the fact that some of the ACEs include in their list of useful links means that it is indeed useful to newcomers

I wrote one, A1131418, it doesn't include everything on tables but it's a bit long as it is. I'm off camping for a bit though so won't be able to neaten it up for a couple of weeks.

A hit counter would be really useful.

Quite a few people link to the page on their spaces as well, so lots of people must find it useful

I think I'll try the 'search' function with the A-number and see what it comes up with - thanks for giving me the idea!

My space will be a hit for a start.
