Have you nearly finished yet? I’ve yet to read your journal (a weeks worth of backlog to catch up with), so sorry if that’s a stupid question.

A good idea

Exams are over but term isn't until next Friday. I've got to sort my final year dissertation topic out, but that's going well so far, I found out yesterday that I have my first choice of tutor

Lucky you. I wasn't given any choice over the tutor I had. On the other hand as we didn't do a full dissertation (only a school bases research project - the rest of the marks we made up on a final school teaching assesment) I suppose it wasn't quite so important.

I got to give a list of preferance, but very few people got their first choice. It was quite a relief as over half the tutor's research area was chemistry based and as I didn't take chemistry at A level I tend to struggle with that. Instead my project will be ecology based, which is my best area.

Ahhh, tree hugging and pond dipping.

I think it's more likely I'll end up chasing insects round the lab or digesting plants in acid.

Make sure you get those the right way round or you’ll end up creating a by mistake.

Mind you, it would make the write up stand out!

If anything survives a triple acid digest I'd be most suprised.
