I'd like to... but I'm not sure what. It's pretty important that I get a job right now, so randomly learning something brand new isn't really feasible. I just don't know what to do.

Maybe investigate a job area that simply wouldn't normally occur to you? Would at least help define what you don't want to do

Believe me, I've been doing jobsearches and just ticking the 'all' box! I came across something today that was completely new, but a 'maybe'- a wine salesman for a large wine distributor. Sounded interesting, and the pay wasn't too bad, for a starting job.

Mostly local- the wine sales thing is based in Market Harborough, but involves travelling all over the country. I have to be a bit more picky with jobs based further away- at the moment I have free accommodation and free access to a car. Moving would incur a lot of expense...

And expense is bad
I can't really suggest anything helpful, all my job hunting experiance has been limited to Saturday jobs and summer work.

I think it makes it more difficult as this is an important step- it's not like I'm just looking for something for a holiday, it's potentially for the rest of my life!
