Hello there Laura...

Laura Posted May 14, 2003
Considering I live on a corridor with five Laura's and a Lauren, I find Laura a bit dull. Actually, people rarely call me by my actual name, it would be too confusing.
I'm fine, must in a minute due to a training day
, so can't write much now. How's you?
Please talk to me
JockMacAbre Posted May 14, 2003
I like the name Laura...
Its right up there with Louise and BaRbie!!
ANd if you knew me better, then you'd know that it was a vast compliment...
Im fine thankyou...
Had a hell of a boring day...
Met and a lass called Laura..(oooooo..... How weird, eh? Heehee!!), and it was the most excruciatingly boring day of my life....

Nothing wrong with the name Laura, it's just impractical when there are so many of them. People tend to call me by my surname instead.
I'll just have to trust you on the Loise and Barbie front.
There are a lot of Laura's.
Brownies. I'm a Brownie Guider, and the program has been re-written. It was a training day to learn it. Still, it could do with an up-date.

I sometimes get called Casanova for some unfound reason...
Oooooh!
I always wanted to be a Brownies.... but because of my gender, i wasnt allowed...
And they call men sexist!! lol

Laura Posted May 14, 2003
Ah well, can't win them all
It did seem a bit odd when girls became allowed to join beavers, cubs and scouts, but raindows, brownies and guides stuck as female only. But then a lot of the brownie program really wouldn't be of much interest to boys.
I don't think the uniform would suite you...

Laura Posted May 14, 2003
Well, that should work out then .
My favourite shop, now that's a hard one... Er... um... er... erm. I'll go with Top Shop, the one in the Victoria centre in Nottingham mind. Otherwise you just don't get the selection. The movie store is good as well, lots of lovely posters. Same applies to forbiden planet.
Now you've done it. You've gone and started me talking about shopping..

JockMacAbre Posted May 14, 2003

Please talk to me
Laura Posted May 14, 2003
Ah yes, that's the trouble . That's where sales are for.
Nottinham has many nice shops..... It's a bit dangerous to go on a sopping trip there
Hmmm, that's a toughy. I'm one of those people who isn't really all that bothered about particular genras/bands/groups/singers. I don't like dance or garage. Just about everything else though is fine. Favourites would perhaps include Queen, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Beetles, Bon Jovi, er, and lots of other stuff.

I can assure you that Hemel Hempstead is almost definitely more dull... I can't remember where my cousins live now, they moved into a little hamlet. Has a whole three houses...

Please talk to me
Laura Posted May 16, 2003
In Hertfordshire, about 20 miles north of London. It's only claim to fame is a very odd roundabout and regular train strikes...
I was going to go to Swansea... that uni is right on a lovely stretch of sand... But I changed my mind..
Environmental Science. Very broad, covers just about everything. Quite a lot of plant science in it though. GM tomatoes can get dull eventually
So what sort of subject are you into?
