Hello again . Well, you know about the new users page, I assume. Though actually about half the people I've ACE'd are ones who have already had a message on their space, but it wasn't from an ACE. Often they've written it themselves, or sometimes someone else has been going round welcoming them.

Handed in all my essays for now, though I've got one of my tutors asking me if I intend to hand in one of them. This is quite worringing as I handed it in before the deadline, so it must have gone missing

Oh well, general revision now. Lectures have finished, first exam Saturday.

Oh, one thing, when I got my badge I was told to register with the ACE forum, and that the information for that and everything else would be in an email. I never got it. Just wondering if it's just me or if they're being slow.

I hope that essay turns up and you don't have to write out another one. Good look with the revision I have an exam on Hamlet which I'm scared about.

As for your emails I can't do anything about them but have you tried asking Sir Mort or Abbi they are pretty clued up on h2g2

On going to the shops I came across a plant I really like it and its only £1.99 but my boyfriend has hayfever so I don't think it would go down to well with him. However, I don't know anything about hayfever at all except what he complains about getting because of it so I think I will just have to talk to him about it.

Hayfever is something I don't have either, very useful considering the amount of plant science I do. Hayfever is caused mostly ny grass pollen. Unless it's a grass there really shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for informing me. I think I will take a look on h2g2 and see whether theres anything on the subject. The plant in question has big oval shaped leaves and it looks like a flower could grow up the middle of the plant.

It really shouldn't be a problem then. Any pollen grains should be too large to be a problem, and even if they were, one plant alone should not irritate hayfever.

Thanks for telling me that I searched for the topic on h2g2 earlier today and theres nothing on it!!! I think someone should write about it.

I do environmental science at Nottingham Universtity, and do a lot of plant science there.

Yes, I'm in the first year. It's not a very well known course, there're only 34 of us.

No, sorry. Due to mixed lectures I haven't actually met all of the environmental science people yet. There may only be 394 of us, but there are quite a few biologists and zzologists.
