As a writer of epics I feel I must ask of you tips, since my current mind is afflicted with writer's block I feel I must turn on my own previous work.
I am henceforth creating a new epic based on my audio script, however at at estimate of 300 pages of dialogue I am wondering how I would go about it, particularly when it's 500 words a post.
Hard, very Hard but not impossible!
By the way, welcome to Planet Skaro. Had no idea you were branching out?

Okey Dokey then, hers my top tips for making epics-
1)Make the story long(Obviously)
2)Create quite a few plots and not just one, that way you will never be short of ideas.
3)Have a good Villain.
4)Create quite a few characters so that you can make a lot of incidental plots.
Anyway, theres my top tips.
I have indeed joined planet Skaro. only recently, but I havent been on there much yet.

Well I avoided Skaro for a bit, seeing it act and behave a bit differently to BBCi Boards but these days I'm not so sure?
As for your tips the story's written, was written ages ago and has a lot of characters- tried to get some fan-based prouductions to pick it up but they said it was A- too long, B had old enemies.
This story is seven episodes long yet I do believe that it will last well over 30 or more posts per episode- if that? 300 pages of pulse racing sci-fi action in a few base under seige settings.
Wheel In Space was a great story but because little happened that's where it fell, this should occur using the Nth Doctor seen in 'Perspective'.
The Ninth Doctor in Power and the Nth- probably Tenth in this one- Clue as to who the main villain is, the title: The Doomsday Cause.
Key: Complain about this post
