Mary-Jane's day

Hi Chris
Thanks for your good wishes for Mary-Jane on her big day. Despite the weather, the rain stayed off long enough for the children to have a procession .
And who was leading it ?
Yes.Mary-Jane herself .
Chris ! She looked absolutely beautiful, almost like an angel .She never put a foot wrong and even carried the Offering up to the altar without a hitch.
Then ,like a new bride:- she ,along with all the other girls and boys went into the Churh hall where a professional photographer was waiting to take all the children's pictures .
Of course,we all had our own cameras flashing away like mad .If I can find a way to post a picture then I will .When they are developed . I now get them put onto disc as well so I can post the disc to my cousin in Canada ,but not before I have stored them myself.
When we got home ,the mercenery Mary-Jane took over and she just ripped open all the cards out of the envelopes looking for any money gifts .
She Got £150.00 in cash gifts besides other souvenir gifts ,but I think we can put it down to the excitement on the day .
She is not usually so mercenery.
Sorry to hear about Ayr beach. I gave up on it years ago.
If I might make a suggestion:-if you are looking for a nice sandy beach for Gwen ,then why not try Aberdour in Fife.
We go there quite often .The sands are clean and silver and situated in a cove protected by a hillside behind . It can be a real little sun trap.
Or if you you want to go a bit further you could try Crail, about 10 miles from St,Andrews .
Give my love to Gwen

Chris
i forgot to tell you in my last post since it was more to do with Mary-Jane .
Today May 22nd ,Jean and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary.
She bought me a new gold ring for my wedding finger ,so I figure she thinks she has me hooked .
Next year is the 'biggy', Golden Wedding ,and I know the kids have something lined up, but I have no idea what .
I just hope it is not a second honeymoon. I dont think I could survive it.

Tommy
Congratulations!(on the wedding anniversary), commiserations!(on the match)
What's Mary-Jane going to do with all that money? Gwen's Gran & Granpa gave her about £70 last year to take on holiday and all she could think of was how much ice cream she could buy!
Funny you should mention Aberdour - we did go there once when we were staying in St Andrews. It's perfect and we've always intended going back there but haven't got round to it yet. Gwen loves Millport so it's always a difficult decision - whether to go east or west!!
I'd like to see the photos of Mary-Jane. I'd thought about uploading a really nice photo of Gwen holding a Barn Owl when we were in Stratford last month but my wife strongly disapproves of putting photos of children on the web. She's convinced that only dangerous perverts use it (she must have seen the photos of the Scottish Researchers Group).
Gwen's looking over my shoulder - she likes the heart smiley

Hello Chris and hello Gwen.
Many thanks for the good wishes .Too bad about the football .
You should have been in my house on Wddnesday night . It was brilliant .
All the family were round wearing Celtic Gear, Sombreros, Banners, Scarves .Sangria , Doritos with all the 'dips'.
At times I thought the roof was coming off.It is a good job the neighbours were down at their own son's house to watch the game .
Never mind ,there is always next year .
My older grand-daughter Lynsey ,aged 16 was in tears at the end .
She is crazy about Shaun Maloney and her walls are covered in posters of him .
Now ,Mary-Jane and her money ? I asked her today what she was going to do with it .She said she is going to invest it .
In what ?,she didnt say.
Your wife is right of course about posting photos on the net .I just said it in the heat of the moment.
But if you are still watching Gwen, I send you more love .
Tommy Mac
