Hopefully, you are still here and can read this. I hope you are on vacation, perhaps you are going to cottage country.
Having just returned from there yesterday after a couple of days I have this to say. The weather was sunny and warm. I never saw any black bears but after depositing the garbage in a dump on Hwy 28 (Ontario) I spoke to the man in charge. He said I just missed a black bear by five minutes and that he would be back. I asked this man if he carried a rifle to protect himself and he said he did.

I suppose it's the equivalent of cottage country: Banff.
I'm not sure if I'll bother finding an internet connection while I'm there.
