Perchance, because it is past his bedtime, he had dozed off and his head is nodding onto the keyboard?

anhaga, those photos are marvellous, so is the map. (I admit, I didn't follow your journey on it, I don't follow maps very well - stereotypically female, that..)
Is Villeneuve Drive named after Jacques, Gilles or neither?

And one taken specially for me!
I think I'll add it to the gallery if that's okay with you.
btw, whatever happened to Wayne Gretsky? I'm sure I've asked someone this recently but I can't remember the answer (obviously).

I expect Villeneuve Drive got its name from the town of Villeneuve north east of St. Albert.
As for Mr. Gretsky: http://www.upperdeck.com/athletes/waynegretzky/default.aspx

And which colours would those be, anhaga? In fact, black is the absense of colour and white contains all colours. Or so I've been told.
Just went through the Wayne Gretsky timeline - most interesting. But what I really want to know is - is he still married to Janet?

Aawww that really is heartening to hear.
I'm not any sort of hockey fan but I remember watching Gretsky and he truly was poetry on ice. Like Pele playing football. And of course they made it look so easy! I always admire people who manage to find their element and create art in the most unlikely places.

*sigh* He was our very own *Natural*. I guess we can be happy to have seen him play, but when he left the game something esle left as well.
btw, great idea Anhaga! You've made me jealous.
Did anyone else notice how Anhaga's shadow was distorted and oddly shaped in some places?

It looked a bit like anhaga was pushing a shopping cart, zoomer, those little old lady types. But in a shadowy sort of way . . .
Isn't it true to say that hockey has not been - and will probably never be - the same after Gretsky?
It's also nice to see that he does all that charity work now.

Assuming you were going to the laundromat, were you going to wash the stuffed toy as well? My niece and nephews seldom got to play with theirs when they were young, my sister was *always* putting them in the wash...

I have shamelessly ripped off your idea (somewhat) by shooting a day out with Vegantoo here. She's visiting with family and I was the tour guide today for a few hours.

Nice pictures, Zoomer.
And, when I said 'stuffed animal' did no one imagine I might have been talking taxidermy?

Lost: Answers to Anhaga. Last seen wearing a bathrobe and a cheesy moustache, carrying a bag of unwashed underwear and a badly stuffed sloth.
Key: Complain about this post
