A friend of mine claims to be have a fun old time with life, yet cannot go out in our local high-street without passing comment on the number of common people around, or the high likelihood of being murdered or mugged. This friend insists on dark glasses and peaked caps and is never without a mobile phone. Words such as coddled and snobbish spring to mind.
The most hilarious part of it is that this friend's significant other prefers to spend Sunday's in the Pub, when the time would be better spent underlining the significant part of significant other.
Y' dig me, hoopy froods?

What is with gorgeous women?

All the gorgeous women I've asked out for Valentines Day seem to have over-protective boyfriends who are afraid of commitment. Now, if you're afraid of commitment, then shouldn't you respect that same thing in your girlfriend?
Shouldn't you acknowledge that if you really don't want your girlfriend to run off with someone else you should marry her, not chain her up in the basement(metaphorically speaking)?

That is to say, if they then choose to remain with you it's more of a compliment than if you brainwash or intimidate them into staying IMHO!

I just attended the worst careers talk about getting into TV ever!! It will take every ounce of my self-control not to name and shame. You'll be glad to know, however, that it was nothing to do with our own lovely fluffy BBC!
